Vicki Schmidt is a Certified Paralegal by the National Association of Legal Assistants, and has been with Loveless & Loveless, Attorneys at Law, L.P. since graduation from the Southeastern Paralegal Institute in Dallas in 2002. She has continued her education by attending the courses offered by the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas as well as other courses sponsored by the State Bar of Texas. She has also attended specific trainings about the collaborative law process and the discovery process used in litigation cases. Vicki served as the 2011 President of the Denton County Paralegal Division, and is currently working on a committee for the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division.
Vicki and her husband have three daughters and a granddaughter. Vicki enjoys decorating, and is committed to literacy and access to justice, helping these causes through her volunteer work at various libraries and local pro bono legal projects such as Wills for Heroes and the Legal Aid Clinic for Veterans.
